Yoga for Men with Gérard - Monday 6.30pm (Milton Keynes) (at-venue only) - 75 mins
Yoga for Men who do not think yoga is for them, perfect for those who are looking for something accessible to beginners and still offer you the possibility to challenge yourself if you wish in a playful and healthy way. Part flowing sequences and part static postures, Gérard gives clear and easy instructions, no Sanskrit or chanting in his classes, we focus on the Poses (Asanas) and their alignments, connecting your breath to your body, developing strength and balance. The perfect way to rediscover your body and find a deeper connection with yourself.
Who these classes are for:
Friendly small group yoga classes for men in Milton Keynes.
No prior experience is necessary, and the classes are friendly and fun. It's great if you've never done yoga before but have a reasonable degree of physical fitness, or if you have an existing practice but want an opportunity to develop and grow.
Part flowing sequences and part static postures, Gérard gives clear easy instructions in layman's language (no sanskrit or chanting in our classes), and we focus on key postures, breathing, developing strength and balance. You'll learn to connect mind and body and develop a deeper understanding of your own physicality.
A post-class social gathering offer you the opportunity to connect and make new friends.
What you need in-studio:
A face covering
Comfortable clothes that you can easily move around in: shorts and a T-shirt are perfect.
A yoga mat (please contact us if you don't have your own)
A refillable water bottle (not plastic please) and a towel if you choose to.
Note that there are no shower facilities at this venue.
Life sometimes puts unavoidable delays in our path, and if something means you'll be late please don't worry: you're welcome to join when you arrive (within reason!).
How many students will there be?
In-Studio classes are limited to 12 students with greater than 2m physical distancing, On-Line classes are limited to 20 students so it's possible to interact with everyone.
