Who this class is for: 

Friendly small group yoga class for men who run and don't stretch enough (I know, I'm guilty of it too!) and their friends, male and female: all genders are welcome at the virtual studio!

This class will take you through a focused series of mindful stretches to fully stretch out after a run, and will give you the tools and knowledge to incorporate a quick and efficient stretching routine into your regular running practice.

No prior experience is necessary, and the class is friendly and fun. It's great if you've never done yoga before but have a reasonable degree of physical fitness, or if you have an existing practice but want an opportunity to develop and grow. Part flowing sequences and part static postures, I give clear easy instructions in layman's language (no sanskrit or chanting in my classes), and we focus on key postures, breathing, developing strength and balance. You'll learn to connect mind and body and develop a deeper understanding of your own physicality.

What you need in-studio:

  • A face covering

  • Comfortable clothes that you can easily move around in: shorts and a T-shirt are perfect.

  • A yoga mat (please contact us if you don't have your own)

  • A refillable water bottle (not plastic please) and a towel if you choose to.

  • Note that there are no shower facilities at this venue.

 

What you need on-line:

  • Comfortable clothes that you can easily move around in: shorts and a T-shirt are perfect.

  • Internet connection/zoom

  • A yoga mat if you have one otherwise a space on your floor.

  • Your camera MUST be on and you MUST be clearly visible for the duration of the class.

  • NO recording or screenshots.  Please respect our community.

Lateness:

Life sometimes puts unavoidable delays in our path, and if something means you'll be late please don't worry: you're welcome to join when you arrive (within reason!). 

How many students will there be? 

In-Studio classes are limited to 10 students with greater than 2m physical distancing, On-Line classes are limited to 20 students so it's possible to interact with everyone.
