Tony Lee
Yoga Teacher
Tony grew up in New Zealand and was first introduced to yoga in 2008 to help to balance his stressful corporate work, and his fitness and rock climbing training when he moved to London. But it wasn't until 2019 when he made the yoga practice a part of his daily life and started to understand the true journey of the yogi.
Since then, Tony has been teaching so that his students can experience the full benefits of yoga, cultivate body awareness and deep understanding of the practice. He has studied numerous styles of yoga, meditation, breath work, hypnotherapy and other spiritual practices. His style melds a unique blend of Hatha, Raja and Forrest yoga - emphasises alignment and integrity in the poses, whilst challenging students with creativity and strength.
His classes blend an invigorating flow and deep hold with detailed alignment instruction, from foundational basics on the architecture of asanas and blending strength and flexibility to advanced clinics on strong arm balances. Tony loves helping practitioners discover the range of their abilities. Beyond the physical practice, he enjoys teaching ways to integrate the mind-body connection into daily life.
Tony is currently studying a MSc in Transpersonal Psychology, as well as Tibetan Buddhism, tantra, and other integrative therapies, to research various spiritual traditions’ practices to help to improve the lives of busy people living in the modern society.
